Ingredients for Spring Cinnamon Chips
To make Springtime Cinnamon Chips, you'll need:
- tortillas
- mini cookie cutters in spring shapes
- non-stick cooking oil spray (we used coconut)
- salt
- cinnamon sugar mixture (We usually make our own-- approximately 2 parts sugar to 1 part cinnamon-- and keep it mixed in an old cinnamon bottle.)
How To Make Cinnamon Chips
Preheat your oven to 325. Cut little shapes out of the tortillas. Put them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Give them a spritz with your cooking oil spray. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over them (just a teeny bit) and then shake on your cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake your chips in a 325 degree oven for approximately 8 minutes. Check them frequently to make sure they don't burn. They should be nice and crispy when done.
Eat 'em up! These little cinnamon chips would be great to bring to a class party, or to have your kids snack on while you make Easter dinner.
