Some days we're in the mood for elaborate, fancy arts and crafts, but other days you just want something super simple and easy to set up. This Fourth of July Fingerprint Flag can be done with supplies you have on hand, and will only take a couple of minutes to get ready. It's also super cute and a great way to celebrate the Independence Day!

All you need for this project is paint and cardstock! We also used a plastic palette but you could just as easily use a paper plate instead.
Begin by making a small square of blue in the upper left corner of your paper. You could use a paintbrush, but Lena just used her fingers to keep from getting a brush dirty.
Next, make rows of red fingerprints to be the stripes. You can add white fingerprints in the stripes if you want, or just leave the white space blank.
There you have it- a quick and easy Fourth of July craft for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, or elementary kids!
