All you need is some white cardstock and a printer, scissors, and rubber stamp ink.
Print your free template using link at the bottom of this post, and cut the paper down the middle to make 2 cards from each page. Fold in half.
Next, you may want to have your children practice making thumbprint hearts on some spare paper. It also helped my girls to figure out how hard they had to press their thumbs to get enough ink. Help however much you need to. Lena, my 5-year-old, could make her hearts on her own. My 3-year-old, Maggie, needed my help to make it work.
Then you're ready for your cards! Make the hearts by making two thumbprints, slightly overlapping one another. Add a personal message to the inside and then pop them in the mail to your loved ones! These little cards fit perfectly in to quarter sheet envelopes.
Get your template for "I [Heart] You!" and for "Thumb-Body Loves You!".
*Be sure to set your printer to "fill entire paper" in order to make the sizing and spacing correct.*
