This printable preschool planning page is just what you need for planning a weekly preschool theme. Print a whole year's worth at once and keep them in a binder as you browse ideas on Pinterest. Or just print one each week as you go along! Write in the theme and the date along the top. Then, as you prepare for each week, fill in your plans.
If you're looking for weekly theme ideas, be sure to look at 52 Weekly Themes or check out the Complete Theme Units that I've featured.
It's okay if you don't fine or plan an activity for each category. The list of categories along the left side is just to help you remember different areas that you might want to consider planning for.
My daughters both enjoyed listening to simple read aloud chapter books during their preschool years, so I included a space for that, but many preschoolers are NOT ready, and that's perfectly fine! You may find some inspiration with this list of Chapter Books For Preschoolers or this list of MORE Chapter Books For Preschoolers.
You may plan a trip to the pet store for a Dogs and Cats Theme Unit or a trip to a local botanical garden for a Flower Theme Week and add that to the Field Trip section.
And while I'd like to be able to say that my children never watch a lick of television or play any iPad games, I'd be lying! So I included a place for you to plan your screen time. I love finding episodes of The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That or Sid The Science Kid to complement our learning for the week. You can also find loads of great themed iPad or iPhone games.
