This simple Halloween snack couldn't be easier to make or healthier to eat! You kiddos will love it. I'm always looking for great ways for my girls to celebrate holidays without going overboard on the sweets. This Frightful Fruit Salad would also be perfect to make for a class Halloween party or to serve at a special Halloween dinner.

Ingredients:
1 cup mandarin oranges (drained but with juice reserved)
1 cup blackberries
1 Tbs. honey
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Directions:
Rinse blackberries and lightly pat dry. Combine with mandarin oranges.
In a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup reserved orange juice, honey, and almond extract. Whisk until well combined. Pour over fruit.
I served ours in a Halloween treat cup (from the craft store, but these from Amazon look similar) and added a plastic spider ring to make it extra spooky.
You're done! My 3-year-old, Maggie, ate nearly the entire bowl of fruit in one sitting. Talk about a winning recipe!
