When your kids come home from school, I bet they are HUNGRY! Even if your kids are homeschooled, or are too young to be in school everyday, they probably get hungry in the afternoon.
Surprise them one day this week with one of these awesome Healthy After School Snacks. None are too tricky to make, and none are too unusual-- my girls are both picky eaters, but I think even they would enjoy most of these! Best of all, all these options are healthy. Some of them have a bit of sugar or butter but those are REAL foods and are perfectly fine for your children to have in moderation, along with other whole foods like fruits and veggies. Who's ready to get cooking?
