Looking for some Cinco de Mayo activities for your kids? Celebrating cultural holidays can be a great way to introduce your little ones to different parts of the world. Briefly explain what the holiday is about. For Cinco de Mayo, you can explain that the day was originally a holiday to celebrate a Mexican military victory, and that it has now become a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. Show them where the country is on a map, and get to crafting! Don't worry about them really getting it. At a toddler, preschool, and early elementary level, exposing them to different cultures is just what they need.
