We love healthy snacks like smoothies! Maggie (age 3) is the biggest fan in the house, by far. I especially love to make her simple smoothies for different holidays just by changing the color of the ingredients. Of course we had to make an Earth Day smoothie! It's loaded with healthy ingredients, so you can feel good about giving it to your kids for breakfast or a nice afternoon snack. Tell your kiddo that they get to drink an entire blue (use your imagination) ocean with green land blobs. They'll think it's fab.

Prepare Your Smoothie
Set aside a slice or 2 of kiwi for garnish, if you'd like. Puree the remainder and set it aside.
Next, blend up your smoothie! Add the banana, about 1/3 cup of yogurt, and approximately 1/2 cup of blueberries. You can also add a bit of sweetener if you'd like-- sugar or honey would be fine.
Pour your smoothie into a glass and then use a small spoon to add your green kiwi land. Add some kiwi and blueberry garnish and a fancy straw. Now you've got a super cute and super yummy Earth Day smoothie!
