We love yarn wrapping! It is one of Lena's favorite activities so she was downright giddy when I showed her this project. Since we've done several yarn wrapping projects before, these Yarn Wrapped Rainbows from School Time Snippets really jumped out at me! I modifed the idea a bit by using a single skein of multicolored rainbow yarn. In addition to being beautiful, they're great fine motor work for little fingers.

Here's all you need:
- boxboard or thin cardboard
- scissors
- multicolored rainbow yarn (something similar to this)
- tape
Cut your cardboard into a rainbow shape. Tape the yarn to the back. Wrap 'em up!
You can wrap willy-nilly like Maggie.
Or neat and tidy like Lena.
When you're done, simply cut the yarn and tie a little knot along one of the wraps on the back.
