These bright, colorful necklaces are the perfect easy kids' project for Valentine's Day! They're simple enough for toddlers, fun enough for preschoolers, and cool enough for big kids. These Easy Paper Valentine Necklaces were inspired by this awesome post from Fireflies and Mud Pies. Melissa made a version for Halloween, and I've had the idea stuck in my head ever since! I thought they'd be so pretty in Valentine's Day colors!

Gather And Prepare Your Materials
All you need for this project is some necklace cord or string, and some paper straws in Valentine's Day colors. You can find your materials at any craft store; I often see paper straws in the Target dollar section, too.
Cut up the straws into little bits. At first I cut them at an angle, because I thought they'd look super cool. And they DID look super cool, but they were also very poky, and hurt to wear as a necklace. On to plan B. Cut them straight!
Get To Stringing!
Then just let your kids thread them on to a necklace cord or string. They'll work those little finger muscles!
Make one or make a dozen.
Just be sure to make one for your dolly.
