Lena was so excited to put out our fall decorations this week, as we completed our Fall Theme Week of Home Preschool. We went upstairs to get them out and it was only then that I realized...that I don't have ANY fall decorations! I've got plenty of Halloween, but nothing for fall. Not to be deterred, Lena decided that we would just make some. So make some we did. This Oh-So-Pretty Leaf Garland is now strung up along kitchen well, and it is, if I may say so myself, a masterpiece.
Here's how to make one!

Materials
- paper towels
- water soluble markers (this just means washable)
- paint brushes
- water
- scissors
- hole punch
- yarn
The more area you color, the brighter and more vibrant your leaves will be. Paint water on the markers and watch the colors run together beautifully!
Once dry, cut out leaf shapes. I traced some artificial leaves, and free handed some. Lena cut out the simple ones, and I cut the more complex ones.
