This week my husband will be gone for dinner one night, so I'm taking advantage of his absence to cook something that he doesn't like, but that the girls and I are crazy about-- fried rice! I sneak away for lunch at a little Thai restaurant down the street about once a week, and pineapple fried rice is one of my go-to dishes there. I loooooooove it. We'll see how a homemade version turns out!
Other than that, I'm still slowly working on cleaning out the freezer and pantry. The problem is that I just keep adding things back....I'll make banana muffins when I've got some too ripe bananas, or I'll see something at the store at a rock-bottom stock-up price that I've got to get. I'll get there eventually.
